    This was the worst experience I have ever had with a business! Not only were they surly and unhelpful, they completely botched my daughters college box delivery for her freshman year. Despite emails and texts and an account promising delivery on August 20, when I called to quote online chat" I was told delivery would not occur until August 23!!!   • Moving my daughter to college

    Our experience with collegeboxes was TERRIBLE! We were moving our 1st born to college in Texas,from Florida. Collegeboxes seemed like a great company to help us ship her items. All went well until delivery day. Despite an email, text message and my online account information PROMISING delivery on August 20, 2014, when I called to follow up around 11 am that day, Collegeboxes could not locate my info.   • Horrible customer service, was late to pick up my item

    I was willing to shell out $150 to store exactly one item, solely for the promise of the convenience, even though I could have paid a third of that and stored everything in my room in an off-campus storage facility. Never mind the price, how about the fact that I sat in my room for the entirety of the six hour pickup window before contacting THEM (because nobody had contacted me) and was nastily informed that they had yet to arrive at my room and had five more dorms to stop by.   • Don't count on!!

    My daughter at Boston University had scheduled a delivery of her boxes upon her return to Boston months ahead of time. She was given a six hour window and spent that beautiful day in her room waiting. She called once during this time and was told there was a "small delay." When the six hours were over, we both called and received nasty unhelpful service that they were "behind." Well, duh! She had no choice but to wait the extra 45 minutes.   • Hardly Convenient

    I specifically chose to return to school the day that said they were going to return boxes because I had packed my bed covers/sheets/blankets/towels in the boxes. That wasn't the smartest idea. Without notifying me decided to change the delivery dates. Now I'm sitting in my room on a crappy mattress with no sheets or blankets writing this review. is not professional at all.   • Collegeboxes is the WORST...

    Collegeboxes is the WORST storage service you will find I am a student in New York city and I decided to store my things with Collegeboxes. They returned most of my things, but still (4 months after they agreed to return it) haven't returned one of my boxes. I've called, written e-mails, and written complaint tickets... non of which produce my box. They are unhelpful, unorganized, and unwilling to return my things. We are extremely sorry for all the confusion during your delivery. Collegeboxes strives to achieve customer satisfaction and yes, due to our delivery personnel running about 30 minutes late, we did deliver your items at 4:30 and issued you a 5% discount for the delay in delivery.

Our College Boxes experience could not have been worse. Despite text messages, emails and proof on my account that we would receive our items between 10 am and 4 pm on August 20, "on line chat" with the company that morning was a disaster! They told me my items would be delivered four days later. College boxes offers no phone numbers to call. You can only chat online with an operator. I was FINALLY promised by boxes by 1:30 PM again at 3:30 PM and received them around 4:50 PM. I spent over $800 and was only offered a $40 credit for this terrible customer service experience. Not only that, the operators were surly and unhelpful each time I tried to chat with them online. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Do not use this company!!!
